Founded in 1985, AFA - Consultores de Engenharia, Lda. operated in the Engineering Projects, Coordination and Construction Management sector until 1994, when, in response to market demand, afaplan – Planeamento e Gestão de Projectos, S.A. was created, to which all its activity, people and know-how in Project and Construction Management were transferred.
And the company has been growing and expanding over these 35 years, constituting itself today as a group of companies with vast experience in Project Management in various cultures and environments - 4 continents -, which allows it to integrate human and technological know-how adapted to the best techniques of Construction Management, from CPM (Construction Project Management) to EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management).
Today we have offices in Porto and Lisbon (Portugal), São Paulo and Mossoró (Brazil), Maputo (Mozambique) and Luanda (Angola).
In order to pursue greater goals the group continuously trains its technicians in new technologies and products, guaranteeing an up-to-date response to challenges ever more demanding.
afaplan counts, with a very strong backoffice and prepared to provide effective and rigorous support to the challenges that arise in each country/region where it operates, where the areas of Group's Integrated Management Systems, Organizational Development and Human Resources, Technical Development, Marketing, Commercial Support, Administration, Finance and IT are concentrated.
