New fuel lines Manifold and replacement of the berthing, immobilization and mooring system structures in the Port of Bandim.
The Bissau Petroleum Products terminal, in the Port of Bandim, is used for the unloading of gasoline, diesel, jet fuel for CLC GB deposits, and LPG for Petrogás deposits.
The purpose of the work is to demolish and replace damaged structures with new ones of the same type, to improve conditions in the operation of unloading fuel from tank-type ships (Oil Tank) and gas ships (Gas Carrier), through construction of a new fuel lines manifold and the wharf bridge structurally composed of four definitive dolphins, two berthing and two mooring for ships with a maximum displacement of 15,000 t and the replacement of the transfer platform. During the construction period, two provisional dolphins were built to dock ships with 5,000 t of maximum displacement, in order to guarantee fuel supply.
The definitive docking dolphins have 9 vertical and inclined metal piles and the mooring 4 vertical metal piles all Ø1220 mm x 21.6 mm thick, all with lengths in the order of 40 m. Both are headed by a latticed metallic structure, equipped with rubber cone fender systems with a front panel, quick release bollards and ladders.
The provisional dolphins consists of a vertical metal stake Ø1220 mm x 22.2 mm thick, equipped with mooring bollards, fenders and ladders.
