The Lagoa dos Ventos Wind Farms have a total power of 716MW, with 230 Nordex/Acciona AW125-3.0MW and AW125-3.15MW, HH120m wind turbines.
The project includes the construction of two substations, one 138kV and another 500kV. The 138kV substation consists of 1 138kV line input module, 1 278MVA 138/2x34,5kV transformer, 2 34,5kV transformation connection modules, 1 general infrastructure module and 18 line input modules at 34,5kV. The 500kV substation consists of a 500kV line input, two transformers with double secondary and connection to four bars at 34,5kV and a 138kV line input with a transformer to connect the 500kV bars.
The 500kV Transmission Line (TL) has a length of 90km and the 138kV TL has a length of 20km, and connect the Wind Complex to the Connection Bay at São João do Piauí Substation.
