The "Casa do Cinema Manoel de Oliveira" is installed in the old garage and annexes of Serralves house, located in the nascent limit of the Park in the Rua de Serralves, in Oporto.

The old building area is 338m² on the ground floor and 187m² on the upper floor. The new building total area is 1.040m², divided in two similar floors and a technical basement with 232m².

The existing space rehabilitated in the old garage will be used as a temporary exhibition room, with the focus in Manoel de Oliveira the cineaste and his work.

As an annex to the existing building, another body was created, where complementary services are installed: a cinema room, its foyer, projection room and respective reggie, work rooms for the educational service and archives and storage spaces for works of art and spoils of artists.
