Slopes Stabilization in the Sul Railway

Stabilization of six slopes located between km 236,710 and 242,630 of the Southern Line, municipality of Odemira.

The five excavated sections are located between km 236 + 710 and 241 + 400, north of Luzianes-Gare station and embankment slope at km 242 + 830, at the southern end of the station.

The works consist of the removal of the current protection devices, regularization and excavation of the slopes, removal of disintegrated and unstable materials, deforestation and removal of vegetation of the zones concerned, laying of containment nets, execution of nails, projected concrete, gabion wall, covering in rockfill, coating with vegetal material and improvement of drainage systems.
