S. Pedro de Moel Cliff

Protection, stabilization and consolidation of the cliffs bordering the beaches of S. Pedro de Moel and Shell extensions for about 800m and 200m, respectively, in the municipality of Marinha Grande.
This coastal area is characterized by a front of rugged coastline, consisting of a plaster-lime-clayly cliff, with very steep inclination (of 60-65º) at its greatest extent, sometimes subvertical and with variable height between 5m to the south, near the beach of São Pedro de Moel and 26m to the north, next to the lighthouse.
