The work intersects an affluent water line of Trejoito riverside and has as main objective the creation of a water plan for recreational purposes.

The core materials, water retaining ditch and waterproofing covering are made of clay, and to incorporate the stabilized foundations, we use sandy materials explored at an upstream area, in the future area of ​​the reservoir.

A highway crosses the dam, with lanes and track edges of 7,5m wide and passing ways of 2,25m wide.
