At Serra de Mel II Wind Farms, located in the state of Rio Grande do Norte and belonging to Echoenergia, the last concreting of a total of 49 wind turbine bases took place on April 16, 2021.
The Serra do Mel II Wind Farms are located in the municipality of Serra do Mel, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, and have a total installed capacity of 206 MW. They will consist of 49 Vestas V150 4,2 MW wind turbines, a 34,5kV/500kV step-up substation, 17 km of 500kV transmission line, 500kV connection bay, 34.5kV medium voltage network and a set of internal roads with 16 km of extension.
