EDF announces energization of Folha Larga Wind Farm substation

EDF Renewables announced the energization of the substation and the concreting of the last foundation in the Folha Larga Norte Wind Farms, as well as the expressive mark of 2 million hours worked without accidents with absence in this project.
The Wind Complex, where afaplan provides Owner's Engineering services, is located in Campo Formoso, in the state of Bahia, and will consist of 82 Vestas V150 wind turbines of 4.2MW each, which will contribute to an installed capacity of 344MW. With this value, the park will supply more than 850 thousand homes per month and avoid the annual emission of 625 thousand tons of CO2, corresponding to the circulation of about 340 thousand cars for a year.
