afaplan endorses BCSD Portugal's Charter of Principles

afaplan subscribed, on May 2, BCSD Portugal’s Charter of Principles, a document that establishes the principles that are the guidelines for good business management.
The Charter of Principles, inspired by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work of the International Labour Organization and the United Nations Global Compact, aims to create a voluntary framework tailored to companies of various sizes in order to encourage the massification of sustainable management practices based on six principles: Legal Compliance & Ethical Conduct, Human Rights, Employment Rights, Prevention, Health and Safety, Environment and Management.
By endorsing the Charter of Principles, afaplan recognizes the importance of this initiative and that sustainable business management is a factor of competitiveness that needs to be encouraged.
