Minister of Infrastructures visits works of the Beira Baixa Line

On July 9, Pedro Marques, Portuguese Minister of Planning and Infrastructures, visited the modernization works of the Beira Baixa Line, in the Covilhã - Guarda track section.
This modernization, with supervision and coordination of security by afaplan, will be carried out over 46km, including track renovation, electrification, rehabilitation of 6 bridges, requalification of 3 stations, automation of 4 levels crossing and the construction of a concordance with the Beira Alta Line.
