Construction of Porto Metro's Ruby Line to begin with afaplan's supervision

New line will add 6.7 kilometers to the network. Ongoing investments in Metro do Porto amount to more than 500 million euros.
Work to build the Rubi Line of the Porto Metro can now get underway. They will begin this January and will last until the end of 2026.
The new Ruby Line will add 6.7 kilometers to the network, with eight new stations, two tunnels and a new bridge over the River Douro, the D. Antónia Ferreira Bridge, Ferreirinha - which will be exclusive to the Metro and to pedestrian and bicycle traffic.
