The cheapest power plant in the 2019 solar auction is presented

On November 30th, the Santas Solar Plant project was presented - it was marked for being the cheapest in the 2019 photovoltaic capacity auction - with the Minister of the Environment, João Pedro Matos Fernandes, and the Secretary of State for Energy, João Galamba. This is the first project of the 370 MW (megawatts) portfolio secured by the company Akuo in the 2019 solar auction. The plant, which will be built in Alentejo, will occupy more than 350 hectares, distributed between the municipalities of Monforte and Borba, in the Santas and Penuzinha estates.
afaplan was contracted by Akuo for the Supervision, Inspection and Health and Safety Coordination of the Santas, Polvorão and Margalha Solar Farm construction sites.
