First Concrete Base at Ventos de Santa Eugênia Wind Farms

On August 6, the concreting of the first wind turbine base took place at Ventos de Santa Eugênia Wind Farms, located in Uibaí and Ibipeba, in the state of Bahia, owned by Statkraft and with afaplan Owner's Engineering services.
The project will consist of 91 Nordex/Acciona N163/5700 TH120 60Hz wind turbines of 5,7 MW each, totalizing an installed capacity of 519 MW. The project also includes the construction of a 34.5/230kV step-up substation and a 500kV transmission line with 60km of extension.
