Rehabilitation of the Geophisical Institute (Meteorologic Observatory of Pilar Hill - one of the 2 Portugal climatological secular stations).

The objective of this rehabilitation is the transformation of the building in a qualified museum. The rooms of the old building were converted in offices, investigation and ludic areas regarding the Meteorologic Station, including the reactivation of Meteorologic Station with daily data retrive.

On the basement, the seismograph and class factory were install, and in the ground floor machine exhibition, the cartography and old maps - as well as a reading room and the meteorologic station in service.

Althought the building was unoccupied, it proved to be in reasonable state.

The stone mason façades were intervened, as well as the woods works, carpentry, woodden floors, and in the  wood-covering secundary structure a waterproof membrane was instaled. There was also the reenformement of existing lintels, implementation of new sanitary instalations and elevator, as well as a new parking lot outside in the yard.
