Road infrastructure - IP2 between Celorico da Beira and Macedo de Cavaleiros, and IC5 between Murça and Miranda do Douro, a total of 242 Km. Comprising 286 works of art including most importantly a bridge, 23 viaducts and a tunnel.
IP2 - MACEDO DE CAVALEIROS/CELORICO DA BEIRA (A25)
The set of sections of the IP2 between Macedo de Cavaleiros and Celorico da Beira, has an approximate length of 111 km (including links) and this two sections are connected by EN 102 in the area between Junqueira and Pocinho.
The first portion begins at the node with the IP4, Northwest of Macedo de Cavaleiros and ends next to Junqueira in EN 102. The second section, starts in EN 102, next to Pocinho and ends at the node with the A25, to the east of Celorico da Beira.
The layout of IP2 crosses the municipalities of Macedo de Cavaleiros, Mirandela, Vila Flor, Torre de Moncorvo, Vila Nova de Foz Côa, Mêda, Trancoso and Celorico Beira.
IC5 – MURÇA (IP4) / MIRANDA DO DOURO (DUAS IGREJAS)
The set of sections of IC5 between Murça and Miranda do Douro (two churches), has an approximate length of 131 km, starts with the IP4, near Murça, after crossing the EN15, EN221 and ends in the Spring Town of Two Churches, near Miranda do Douro.
On its route crosses two major waterways, including the River Tua, the Dawning of Alijó, and the Sabor River, west of the Meirinhos.
